The Evangelization and Catechesis department is excited to announce a new structure! This ministry exists to meet persons and families where they are in their faith; accompanying and helping them learn and grow as disciples. This is done primarily in two ways: ‘catechesis’ - to educate and instruct in the faith - and ‘evangelization’ - to proclaim Christ and His Gospel by word and action. The ‘what’ of what we do is not changing, the ‘how’ we do it, is!
This restructuring will allow for more exceptional catechesis and evangelization events, primarily focusing on family-based formation which supports strengthening the domestic church. Additionally, it will optimize our staff and resources and put less strain on families’ schedules. Our Pastoral Associate, Amy Allert will continue to serve, along with Christine Chow, Director of Catechesis. James Gonzales is our new Sacrament Coordinator.
